Configure fees
Create and manage fees to apply to parcels.
The example image and list below describe the elements of fees.

Code: The code that identifies the fee.
If a Code has multiple fees, select the plus sign (+) to view all fee amounts.

Description: A description of the fee.

Single Year Fee: If a fee is marked as a Single Year Fee, it will not roll over to the next year when a new assessment tax year is generated, and a check mark displays.

Multiplier: If the fee is a multiplier, a check mark displays.

Effective Tax Year: The tax year in which the fee becomes effective.

Final Tax Year: The final tax year in which the fee applies.
Prerequisites

View Settings permission is required to view the Fees panel.

Edit Fee Settings permission is required to create and edit fees.
Create fees

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Fees.
- On the Fees panel, select Add.
- Populate the fields.
Note: Select the Single Year Fee checkbox to prevent the fee from rolling over to the next year when a new assessment tax year is generated.

Optional: If the Multiplier checkbox is not selected, select Add Row.
- Populate the fields.
- Effective Tax Year: Enter the tax year in which the fee becomes effective.
- Final Tax Year (optional): Enter the final tax year in which the fee applies.
- Fee Amount (optional): Enter the fee amount.

Select Create Fee.
The fee is added and can be used in the system.
Edit fees

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Fees.

In the Fees panel, find the appropriate fee and then select Edit.

Edit the information as needed.

Select Save.
The adjusted information displays in the Fees panel.
Delete fees

From the left-side navigation, select Settings > Fees.

In the Fees panel, find the appropriate fee and then select the Delete icon.
Note: Only fees not assigned to parcels can be deleted. If you attempt to delete a fee assigned to a parcel, the "Fee Not Eligible For Delete" message displays.

Select Yes on the confirmation message.
The fee is deleted.
